Bob Hart, past owner of Chimtech, a full service chimney building, restoration, and maintenance company located in Houston, TX. With 23 years in the chimney industry, he has worked on over 20,000 chimneys, stacks, fireplaces, stoves, and vents. Building, repairs, maintenance, restoration, inspection and documentation are his areas of specialization.
Inventor of the Hart-Rumford Fireplace Forms – with which any mason can build a properly performing fireplace every time. As an alternative to a Rumford fireplace insert, Bob built the Hart-Rumford Fireplace form to save on every fireplace project.
Has worked on and maintained fireplaces and chimneys at the Texas Governors Mansion and the nations White House.
Authored CSIA’s Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician (C-DET) Certification Manual.
Bob lives in beautiful Pagosa Springs in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
